The MSO presents our final concert of the 2016-2017 season in downtown Silver Spring featuring the winners of our 2nd Annual Youth Concerto Competition. The performance will be our final under Music Director A. Scott Wood, and we will honor his 15 years of service to the MSO.

Directly after the concert, children and aspiring musicians of all ages are invited to “try out” a brass or woodwind instrument at our “petting zoo” courtesy of Chuck Levin’s Washington Music Center.

Parking: All public parking garages are FREE on the weekend in downtown Silver Spring.
- The Town Square garage is directly across from the Civic Building at 801 Ellsworth Dr.
- The Wayne Avenue garage is also close by (about a 3 minute walk) at 921 Wayne Ave.
Public transit: The Civic Center is a 10-minute walk (½ mile) from the Silver Spring metro station on the Red Line.
Handicap access: The main entrance of the building (facing Fenton St.) is handicap accessible from the corner of Fenton St. and Ellsworth Dr. There are no steps if you enter the plaza in front of the building from this corner.
